Hi!

Okay...so I thought I would try this again, maybe just to shock Jen! Hi Jen, yes its an update:) Our family has had a wonderful summer, its been busy but fun! We have had many trips to the park, we enjoyed a day at the waterslides, day at the pne, some picnics, Whistler etc! We are enjoying Colin so much! He has been walking for about 5 months now, and he runs everywhere and gets into everything. I always said I only wanted one, maybe because I thought I would worry too much about 2, but we have decided that we do want another one, and will try sometime next year! Thank you to all of our wonderful friends to help with this decision, many of you have taught us so much and have helped me become a bit more calm. In a few weeks we are heading to Maui...first plane trip for Colin. We are looking forward to showing Colin some more of the world and having some family time. Im going to try to blog a bit more and facebook a lot less:)

I cant believe its October. Conor is heading back to work soon, we are so fortunate that he could spend the month with us. Colin is chatting up a storm, and hes so happy. Hes teething again...which Im sure is uncomfortable for him :( I have a feeling he will be crawling soon, he actually loves being on his tummy now, which for awhile, he didnt! He has rolled from back to front now a few times, and has been rolling from tummy to back for about 2 and half months. Looking forward to heading up to Whistler in a couple weeks. Good food and good people.

So...we took our first family trip to Tofino. It was great, nice change of scenery. It was also a lot of hard work, so much planning and packing. Conor has two more weeks off, so we have a few more things planned around town, including a date night. Colin is eating some solids now, rice cereal, pears and sweet potatoes and is down to 4 and half bottles a day. We have been sleep training him and its getting better, hes getting used to his crib, we did try the cry out method but Conor and I both felt, it was a little extreme. Colin does sleep until 8 am though, which is great! Its been 22 days off of facebook, 8 more to go. I was looking at it way too much, became a time waster, so when I go back on, I will only check once a day! I miss the updates and pictures, its a good way to stay in the loop! Im back to bible study tomorrow and am looking forward to that. Hope everyone is enjoying their September:)

Today Colin is 6 months old...I cant believe it! It has gone so fast. I thank god everyday for him, he is such a precious gift from the lord.

Sooo...Im back! And now off of facebook. It has been ten weeks since I blogged, because Colin is almost 6 months. So many wonderful things have happened in the last few months, I was baptized, I started making cards, I have met some new wonderful friends, and most recently we dedicated Colin to the lord. We had a pretty good summer, but am really looking forward to September as Conor is off for a month. We have a few mini trips planned, moms and tots starts up, thursday morning bible study, PCL#2 and swim lessons for Colin. Its going to be busy but fun!
